Privacy Policy - Clean Manager : File Organizer

This Privacy Policy explains how Clean Manager: File Organizer (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our application.

Your privacy matters to us. Your photos, videos, documents, audio files,, file names, and scan results are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Certain technical information may be processed by third-party services to provide advertising, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and other app functionality, as described below.

1. Your Files Stay on Your Device

Clean Manager: File Organizer helps you manage your device storage by identifying junk files, duplicate and similar files, large files and videos, old downloads, APK installers, and empty folders.

File scanning and management are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, documents, audio files, file names, file contents, thumbnails, or scan results to our servers.

Your cleaning history and app settings are stored locally on your device. This information may be deleted when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide your name, phone number, or location to use its core features.

However, certain information may be collected automatically or when you voluntarily contact us.

Contact Us Messages: If you contact us, we may collect the message, subject or topic, and any name or email address you choose to provide. We may also process technical information such as the App version, Android version, device language, and app-instance identifier to help respond to your request and troubleshoot problems.

Providing your name and email address is optional unless needed to respond to your specific request.

Usage Analytics: We may collect information about screens viewed, buttons used, features opened, and general app usage. Analytics providers may also process technical information, including an approximate region inferred from an IP address, to help us understand usage patterns and improve the App.

Crash and Diagnostic Reports: We may collect crash logs, device model, operating system version, App version, and related diagnostic information to identify errors and improve stability.

Device Identifiers: Advertising ID, Firebase app-instance ID, and push-notification tokens may be processed for advertising, analytics, notifications, measurement, and fraud prevention, as applicable.

Install Source Information: Google Play Install Referrer may provide information indicating whether an installation originated organically or through an advertising campaign. We use this information to measure campaign performance.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, call logs, SMS messages, or the contents of your files.

3. Permissions and Why the App Requests Them

The App requests permissions only when needed for its features. Permission availability and behavior may vary depending on your Android version and device.

Photos, Videos, Audio, and Storage Permissions: Permissions such as READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, where applicable, allow the App to access supported media files so you can browse and manage files stored on your device.

All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): If enabled and granted, this permission allows broader storage scanning and file management, including finding supported junk files, APK installers, documents, and empty folders outside media-only locations. Without this permission, functionality may be limited to files accessible through other granted permissions or Android storage APIs.

Notifications: Notification permission allows the App to display supported cleaning notices and reminders. You can manage notification access through your device settings.

Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE): If the optional after-call feature is enabled and the permission is granted, the App may use phone-state information to detect when a call has ended and display an after-call summary. The App does not use this feature to collect your phone number, contacts, or call history. You can disable the feature in the App’s settings.

Background Process Management: The Battery & Boost feature may request Android to stop cached background processes where supported. Android controls the actual behavior, and this feature does not guarantee improved battery life or device performance.

Exact Alarms and Boot Completed: These capabilities allow scheduled reminders to be delivered at the intended time and, where supported, restored after a device restart.

Internet and Network State: These capabilities support advertising, analytics, push notifications, remote configuration, and Contact Us functionality.

You can manage permissions through Android settings. Revoking a permission may limit the associated feature.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services to support advertising, analytics, diagnostics, notifications, app configuration, install attribution, and user support. These providers may process certain information according to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.

Google AdMob: Used to display and measure advertisements. AdMob and its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, IP addresses, and related technical information for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and measurement.

Advertising Mediation Partners: The App may use Unity Ads, AppLovin, and Meta Audience Network to provide advertising through mediation. These providers may process device and advertising information as described in their respective privacy policies.

Firebase: We may use Firebase Analytics for usage measurement, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Firebase Remote Config for remote app settings, and Cloud Firestore to process Contact Us messages.

Meta SDK: The App may use Meta technologies for install attribution and event measurement.

Google Play Install Referrer: Used to identify installation sources and measure advertising campaigns.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Used to present advertising consent messages where required by applicable law or platform requirements.

Third-party providers may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms. Their data practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.

You can review the relevant third-party privacy policies and service information here:

5. Advertising and Your Choices

The App is free to use and may display advertisements.

Where required, we request consent before using personal information for advertising purposes. You may be able to review or change your advertising consent through the App’s available privacy options.

Depending on your Android version and device, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID or manage ad-personalization settings through Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Please note that changing your advertising preferences may not remove all advertisements. Analytics and crash reporting may remain enabled while you use the App. Uninstalling the App stops future collection by the App itself, although previously collected information may remain with service providers according to their retention policies.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared with the third-party service providers described in this Privacy Policy when necessary to operate the App, display advertisements, measure usage, diagnose technical problems, deliver notifications, or respond to support requests.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights or users, or to investigate fraud, security issues, or misuse.

Your files and file-scanning results remain on your device and are not uploaded to us.

7. Data Retention

On-Device Information: Cleaning history, preferences, and other locally stored app information remain on your device until you clear the App’s data, remove the information through available features, or uninstall the App.

Analytics and Crash Reports: These are retained by the relevant service providers according to their retention settings and policies. Firebase Analytics retention settings may allow event data to be retained for up to 14 months, depending on configuration. Other diagnostic data may follow different retention periods.

Contact Us Messages: Messages submitted through the App may be stored in our support database for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

Third-Party Information: Data collected independently by advertising and other third-party providers is subject to their own retention policies.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your country or region, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at amiparameet8800@gmail.com.

Please include enough information to help us identify the relevant data. If you contacted us previously, you may include the email address used in that message. Do not send passwords or other sensitive information.

We will review and respond to requests within the time required by applicable law. Because the App does not require accounts and most file processing happens locally, we may not be able to identify information without additional details.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by us. Information transmitted between the App and our supported services is protected using encrypted connections such as HTTPS where supported.

Contact Us messages may be stored in our database for support purposes and are not intended to be accessible to other App users. Access to such information depends on the security controls and permissions configured for the relevant services.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, or under a higher minimum age where required by applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at amiparameet8800@gmail.com. We will review the request and take appropriate steps to delete the information where required.

11. International Data Transfers

Our third-party service providers may process information on servers located in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our services, applicable laws, or our data practices.

Any revised version will be published at the same Privacy Policy URL with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.

13. Contact Us

If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact:

We will make reasonable efforts to respond to your inquiry in accordance with applicable law.
